Terms and conditions - At the time of hire, you agree to be bound by the TERMS & CONDITIONS as displayed in our offices, and a copy is available on request.

Collection - Collecting your hire equipment is easy. It is worth phoning for availability before you visit, as we cannot guarantee to have the item you require available and in stock.

Delivery - Delivery, by prior arrangement, is available on all larger hire items.

Tuition - with all hire equipement we offer free tuition (up to 20 mins) on safe operating procedures.

Safety equipment - For the safety of yourself and others, you MUST be competent in the safe operating of any tools and plant you wish to hire. Under the Health and Safety at Work Act, you MUST use the necessary P.P.E. (Personal Protective Equipment) when operating our hire equipment. Advice on necessary P.P.E. will be given at the time of hire, and some items are available to buy at our depot. Hire items are not supplied with P.P.E. unless otherwise stated.

Deposit - At the time of hire we require 2 forms of ID (copies will be taken) and confirmation of address the hire equipment is to be taken to (such as utility bill etc).
We require a deposit of the full cost of 1 weeks hire. Alternatively, it is possible to leave a blank cheque as your deposit guarantee. All deposits will be refunded in full when the equipment is returned to our depot as per our terms and conditions.

In brief - All hire equipment is regularly checked and serviced and will be ready for use.
Certain hire items will need regular maintenance whilst in your possession, you will be advised of this at the time of hire and it is your responsibility to ensure these checks are carried out (eg. oil levels, water, grease etc). If you experience any problems with the machinery it must be reported IMMEDIATELY and you will be advised if it is safe to continue using the equipment or not.
Any neglect on your part resulting in damage to the equipment will be deemed your responsibility and you will be charged for all replacement costs at a"new for old" rate, as per our terms and conditions.
Items requiring petrol and fuel will be hired out on a full to full basis, unless otherwise stated. Consumables are not included in the hire charges and will be charged as extra.
If you are collecting plant machinery, it is your responsibility to have adequate insurance cover for transporting the equipment.
It is your responsibility to ensure adequate insurance cover for yourself as an operator and the machinery whilst it is on hire to you. Young Excavator Services Ltd accept no responsibility for any damage to property or persons caused by the machinery whilst it is deemed to be on "hire". Any loss or theft of equipment, whilst on hire, will be deemed your responsibility and you will be liable for all replacement costs.

Hire - Daily hire rates are for 24hrs from collection or delivery. Weekly hire rates are for 7 days from collection or delivery.
Any extensions on hire duration need to be arranged before the end of the hire period. All items hired will be charged at the daily rate until they are returned, as per our terms and conditions, to our depot.
